Tell your healthcare provider today if you (or your child): might not be seeing as well as before starting SABRIL; start to trip, encounter things, or are much more clumsy than normal vigabatrin side effects; are shocked by individuals or points coming in front of you that appear to find out of no place; or if your baby is acting differently than regular.

The Vigabatrin REMS Program is called for by the FDA to make sure notified risk-benefit decisions before initiating treatment, and to ensure proper use of vigabatrin while people are dealt with. When vision loss will take place, it is not feasible for your medical care supplier to recognize.

It is advised that your doctor examination your (or your youngster's) vision before or within 4 weeks after starting SABRIL and at least every 3 months throughout therapy up until SABRIL is stopped. Tell your doctor if you or your child have any adverse effects that bothers you or that does not go away.

Tell your healthcare provider if you are expectant or mean to obtain pregnant. If vision testing can not be done, your healthcare provider may continue prescribing SABRIL, but will not be able to expect any type of vision loss. If vision tests are refrained consistently, your doctor might stop recommending SABRIL for you (or your youngster).
