The Vigabatrin REMS Program is needed by the FDA to guarantee educated risk-benefit decisions prior to initiating treatment, and to ensure proper use vigabatrin while people are treated. It is not possible for your doctor to understand when vision loss will take place.

It is suggested that your doctor test your (or your youngster's) vision before or within 4 weeks after beginning SABRIL and at least every 3 months during therapy till SABRIL is quit.
