WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than buying new gear from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other accessories. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool with an button, which will show an item upgrader mod's preview when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item level upgrade, just click the next article, has been upgraded to a certain amount it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Item upgraders can be found in a variety of locations on the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount as well as a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only available through a variety of methods. This is both a positive and an issue.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a particular item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading further items to the same level will cost less, even if they belong to a different gear set.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade item is also reduced and is not available until players achieve certain milestones in their achievement.

Crests

Players have a variety of choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a crucial component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System, which was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

The first thing to be aware of is that crests can only be spent on equipment of a particular rank, and that each rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade requires up to 20 crests, based on the type of equipment that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulty levels to obtain equipment of lower tier or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader for the item like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and paths.

The use of these currencies isn't too difficult, but the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. Once a piece of gear attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests have one purpose, so it's important to use them properly. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the top-quality equipment you can locate and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount for the entire account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
