World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will gain 3percent of its previous attack damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the Item upgrader Mod's current level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an additional stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot for them; the item must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it is applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item using fewer Upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the defense or attack characteristics of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player can have up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will drop at the time of the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much it will improve following a subsequent reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete or even break when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate chances of failure, as well as some upgrades that offer an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as you can to level 15.

You'll often see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without any restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values it can improve a statistic by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs then you need to place them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, so it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For instance an Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage points, but you should also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes too.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to boost the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled until they reach a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed upgrade item Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrade a piece of equipment the original item is replaced by an item that is new. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage in that it could make the item more expensive, even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrades. This causes the item upgrader mod to be exchanged for a new one, which will have a level 1 base and a completely different set of extra bonuses. This can be useful, but should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or is able to swim like a dolphin). The item can be upgraded many times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This Best item upgrade can be very valuable in PvP as a perfectly rolled version of it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to upgrade the level of their available gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of that piece, while upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Each each time you upgrade an item it is given a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to revert to its original condition, which requires the user to spend more money on materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will be reset to zero. In addition the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example an item level upgrade of common use could have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will have a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. However, players will have to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade item. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients needed to upgrade.
