Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart robot mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule room cleaning robot times and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.
Its design is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base automatic vacuum cleaner Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.
In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not do this. And all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.
While it's not quite as sophisticated as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums often fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place, emptying the bin is done easily. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone, but it's one that will aid in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot vacuum sale (visit the website) effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are some of the top available - but it's also pricey.
The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've used that has done well at picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it could get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum cleaners vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does everything.
However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other great choices on the market with a wide range of eufy models priced substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac g30
Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's simple to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near an electrical outlet and ample space to allow it to move around, however.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, with sleek black finishes and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The most important aspect that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.
The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which doesn't require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is, however is less expensive and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
